Great Strides for Cystic Fibrosis
Cystic Fibrosis is a degenerative and fatal disease which afflicts over 30,000 people. Every year the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation holds a national walk – The Great Strides Walk - to raise money to support research and clinical trials.
Along with our parent company Gorham Savings Bank, Turner Barker was a Gold Sponsor of this event. The Great Strides Walk in Portland was held on May 21, 2011 around Back Cove and we’re proud to say that our team, “Caleb’s Crew”, had 21 walkers and raised $9,240!
